Bolted

Physics-driven junkyard racing in a post-apocalyptic open world

Coming soonRacingActionAdventureSimulationWindowsLinux

Recover part donors from the ruins of Scrap City, bolt their parts into a junk-built car, and test it in circuits, drag races, driving trials and salvage jobs — solo or with up to four friends.

Long after the world collapsed, all you have is a roofless repair shop, a yard full of junk and no car. Build something that runs, take it into Scrap City, race it, haul with it, recover better parts — then head back to the Garage to improve it or start over.

Built from real parts

Start with a chassis and bolt on wheels, a seat, an engine, fuel and cooling. Mass, centre of gravity, wheelbase, driven wheels, tyres, suspension and cooling all shape how the car behaves. More engine buys speed — and heat, thirst and new ways to end up in a ditch.

Bring the parts home

Useful parts sit on donor machines abandoned across the ruins. Some can be pushed home by a glorified lawnmower; others need a tow rig, a crane, a careful route or friends willing to make things worse together. Performance parts are never sold: if you want one, you have to bring it home.

Race the result

Take the same car into street circuits, drag races and driving trials without leaving Free Roam. Events run from Yard to Unlimited class, and power-to-weight and grip decide where a build belongs — the biggest engine isn’t always the answer.

Make Scrap City yours

Play alone or host a friends-only session for up to five drivers. Races, trials and salvage pay Scrap, which buys Garage bays, new routes, venues and cosmetics — never horsepower.
